Questions About Us

1. Do you have a catalog?
We expect to begin offering a catalog in Fall 2005. In the meantime we communicate information about our products and ideas using our email newsletter which is sent monthly. To sign up for our newsletter add your email address to the newsletter signup box in the upper right corner of our website.

2. Can I place an order online via the website?
We currently do not allow online orders. If you would like to inquire about purchasing any of our merchandise, we encourage you to contact us using any of the provided Contact Us links throughout the website.

3. What forms of payment do you accept?
Our store in Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii accepts payment by Visa, MasterCard, Paypal, Money Orders, Cashier's Checks, and Personal Checks

5. How is sales tax calculated?
Waimea Surf Classics must collect 4.166% state and local taxes for items shipped to a Hawaii address.

6. Is my personal information confidential?
Your privacy is important to us. Waimea Surf Classics collects information from our customers and users at several points on our website to facilitate delivery of services or fulfillment of your order. Waimea Surf Classics does not sell, share, or rent this information in any way. The information that you provide is collected for our use only and we take every precaution to protect it both online and offline. For more information please refer to our Privacy Policy.

7. What is your return policy?
Customer satisfaction is our goal at Waimea Surf Classics. If there is a problem with your order, please notify us by email immediately so that we may work with you to arrange a return, replacement, refund, or credit. Full refunds (less shipping fees) will be issued if merchandise is returned in its original condition within 10 days; otherwise a restocking fee may be charged for returning within 30 days (Custom jewelry and special order items are non-refundable). Credit card orders will receive refunds in the form of a credit, and check payments will receive a refund check.

If you're exchanging an item because of a mistake on the part of Waimea Surf Classics or issues of quality, we will pay the shipping cost to send a replacement item to you. The replacement order will be sent via Standard Delivery.

Please retain the original packing materials for any item that you wish to return to us. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original trip. We must receive goods in its original condition to fully credit you for the return or exchange. We cannot accept collect deliveries. Please be sure to obtain a delivery tracking # and insure your items as we are not responsible any damaged or loss item.

Complete the return form, prepay your shipping with a delivery tracking # and insure your package(s) and return them to the address as provided in our return authorization letter.

Please allow 10 to 12 business days for receipt and processing of your return. Credit card orders will receive refunds in the form of a credit, and check payments will receive a refund check. You will receive an e-mail notification upon the completion of return processing.

We must receive goods in new condition to fully credit you for the return or exchange. All return shipping must be prepaid by buyers and we cannot accept collect deliveries.

  • Before you make a return, you will need to obtain a Return Authorization Number by contacting us first.
  • Once you receive our confirmation, down the Return/Exchange form and return the completed form along with your package.

We ship with FedEx and United Parcel Service (UPS)

10. Can you tell me when my package will arrive?
Generally, packages will arrive 1-7 days after your order is placed, depending on the shipping method you select and the day of the week the order is placed. For detailed shipping information please refer to our shipping information page. You will receive an email message when you package ships from our location that will include a tracking number from either UPS or Fedex.

11. What is the origin of my shipment?
All orders ship from our Surf Shop in the middle of the Pacific ocean. We are located in Waimea on the Big Island of Hawaii.

12. Do you ship to international addresses?
We ship to a limited number of international locations including Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom. If you would like your order shipped to a location not included on this list please contact us at 808.885.9092 or customerservice@waimeasurfclassics.com for assistance.
